How to spend $12,000

Q:

If you were going to live here and received a $12,000 gift card, good for any product or service, what would you repair, upgrade or add? Why?

A:I don’t care for the look of no roof overhang on the front-left 2nd story. It feels “off” and I’d spend $$ changing it. There’s also no covered area above the front door, which feels a bit less welcoming. If $$ available, maybe something here too.

9/10ths of a mile walk to the train station and downtown!! Pretty manageable. The finished basement has fairly high ceilings, but is cut-up into somewhat smaller (perfectly usable for kids) rooms. Overall, I REALLY like this house and location. The kitchen is enough to make me start cooking every day!
