Pros
 Great town
 walkable to Whole Foods and (with a bit of ambition) trains & downtown
 Low-maintenance stucco exterior (in good condition)
 Large primary bedroom
 Large and a medium bedroom in basement with full bath
 Good-sized private side yard
 Basement kitchen and entrance from garage or upstairs
 A++ kitchen and breakfast nook

Cons

 On corner of a slightly busy road (Rosendale)
 Low ceilings in (very nicely) finished basement
 short door to garage from basement
 Can’t walk from inside garage into main level of the house without going outside or into finished basement

How to spend $12,000

Q:

If you were going to live here and received a $12,000 gift card, good for any product or service, what would you repair, upgrade or add? Why?

A:If allowed by zoning, add covered walkway from garage to main living area. Nicely finish steps leading to basement from the kitchen (or at least fill nail holes, sand and then paint). Maybe remove the unattractive bunch of trees near the driveway and pant something that will eventually be beautiful (red maple?)

Lots of really nice things about this house, but must accept low finished basement ceilings and the somewhat busy road on the SE side of the yard. There’s no great primary bedroom suite, because the suite on the NW side has a smaller bedroom.
