 2 good sized bedrooms + nice full bath upstairs

 front gutter appears to be 6” instead of more common 5” - handles much more water in a big storm

 Fairly busy road
  across the street from several high tension power lines
 Steps to finished basement are quite steep with smaller treads

How to spend $12,000

Q:

If you were going to live here and received a $12,000 gift card, good for any product or service, what would you repair, upgrade or add? Why?

A:Plant tall year-round hedges, to shield road noise and view of the power lines. Lots of kitchen cabinets, but maybe add furniture or built-in for pantry storage in kitchen.

No smells in the basement- newly painted + running dehumidifier. Probably too far to walk to downtown Madison or Chatham, unless determined! I’d suggest researching the power lines, listening to the road sounds, and try getting in/out of the driveway at hours when you’re likely to be doing that, to see whether that’s difficult.
