How to spend $12,000
Q:
If you were going to live here and received a $12,000 gift card, good for any product or service, what would you repair, upgrade or add? Why?
A:Small section of exterior siding needs a bit of maintenance. Add plantings (raised beds?) for yard privacy and to shield road noise. I’d hire an architect to learn exactly what walls can be removed and whether another level can be added on too (seems like it can). Maybe shift kitchen cabinets to other corner and open that wall up and use the sunroom as a dining area. Add egress window to basement and dry-lock floor and walls (snow blower in garage has a gasoline smell).

If you don’t have piles of money, but want the wonderful Madison community and schools + NYC train access, this is a good non-luxury option with lots of potential. I love the bathroom floor tile. Rooms are mostly good-sized and it’s walkable (if determined).
