How to spend $12,000
Q:
If you were going to live here and received a $12,000 gift card, good for any product or service, what would you repair, upgrade or add? Why?
A:Depends on whether or not the house will be torn down. If yes, deepen the pond and fix fencing where trees have fallen on it. If no, maybe above, but re-tile bathroom, fix lots of imperfect drywall and finishing on DIY projects, new lighting in hallway, some new windows

This is a terrific property and location, with a pond, mature woods and mature flower gardens. It's an easy walk to the elementary school. There is a TON of potential here, but it would cost a fair amount of money to either build a brand new house or seriously renovate the existing one. Or, if pressed for money, live in the existing 4-bedroom house and make big changes down the line. If rebuilding maybe re-orient the house to be perpendicular to the street (BUT you'd lose the beautiful stone walls and walkways)
