 Sidewalks
 walkable to nyc train and downtown maplewood
 walk to large park
 Newer roof
 Exterior appears to be in good condition
 Sunroom
 beautiful wood floors
 Very nice mantle above gas fireplace in open living room
 open kitchen to dining room
 Full bath in basement
 Enclosed porch off bedroom
 3rd floor finished attic with full bath

Cons

 One house away from fairly busy valley street
 1 inch or so step up into kitchen
 “Low bridge” walking down to semi-finished basement
 no air conditioning in basement
 Warm attic while air conditioning was running (window) on a very hot day

How to spend $12,000

Q:

If you were going to live here and received a $12,000 gift card, good for any product or service, what would you repair, upgrade or add? Why?

A:Upgrade railing to/from attic, so there’s solid support when higher up on the steps. I’d add an egress window in the basement for light and safety. If possible, maybe ductless heat pump air conditioning for 3rd floor and basement.

Long 1-lane driveway, retaining wall tilting a bit. Really nice open living room right when you walk in. Mantis especially nice and makes the room. Overall, I really like a lot about this home.
